The Director of Corporate Partnerships will directly contribute to the sales efforts of the Houston Open by generating sales and managing client relationships.  The Director candidate must be able to keep a consistent pipeline of new prospects and upsell existing clients to minimize attrition while achieving strong year-over-year growth. 


·         Successfully drive revenue

·         Sell portfolio of products including: hospitality, pro ams, exhibit space, video boards and publications

·         Annually prospect, generate leads, develop relationships while anticipating customers’ needs.  Effectively present solutions, negotiate deals and close new and renewal business

·         Identify new revenue opportunities by fully activating the marketplace, targeting new business lines and creating additional sellable inventory

·         Leverage existing individual network, tournament host committee, club members, title/event/club vendors, community service groups, current clients and other lead generators

·         Develop a robust pipeline with probability of closing to ensure volume necessary to attain individual and tournament revenue goals

·         Manage daily and weekly sales activity including outbound calls, in person appointments, proposals offered and attending networking functions

·         Utilize CRM tools to track measure and analyze sales activity

·         Employ sales protocol that encompasses multi-year, multi-event and early renewal strategies

·         Educate clients throughout the year on how to fully leverage their participation to maximize ROI

·         Work collaboratively with client’s services, operations, finance, communications and ticketing departments to ensure fulfillment
